Excellence in Every Step

At IGNITE Dance Arts, we believe healthy dancers thrive in exceptional spaces. That’s why we’ve invested in a state-of-the-art facility—featuring professional sprung floors, safety mirrors, and viewing windows—to create the safest and most inspiring environment for your child.

Our certified and highly trained instructors are passionate about more than just technique—they’re dedicated to building confidence, poise, and a lifelong love of dance.

We are proud to be a certified Acrobatic Arts studio, using trusted programs like Twinkle Star Dance, and continuing to pursue advanced certifications in aerial arts and progressive training methods.

Above all, we love your children like our own. When you walk through our doors, you’ll experience a studio culture rooted in excellence, care, and community.

Our Why

Why do we do what we do?

What are our values?

safety and inclusion

to bring quality dance education and programs in the movement arts to Carroll County and surrounding areas

Dance is in our blood, and we can’t imagine life without it. Dance nurtures the mind, body and soul. We know the importance of dance in your child’s life

We value teaching not only dance, but good morals and model our values from Galatians 5:22-23 Fruits of the Spirit: Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.

We value to create a safe space for all kids and adults to thrive regardless of their size, experience, or religious backgrounds. We love and embrace all!

Jerilynn has been a friendly face at the Ignite front desk since 2021, helping keep things running smoothly with her organization and upbeat energy.

Originally from Orange County, California, she moved to Berryville at age 12 and has loved becoming part of the local community. Her son, Jensen, has been dancing with Ignite for 5 years and is a proud member of the competition team.

When she’s not at the studio, Jerilynn enjoys kickboxing, hiking, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering at her church. She loves supporting our dancers and families and being part of the Ignite family behind the scenes!

Jurnee Logan Edwards

Jurnee grew up on a farm in Dry Fork, where her love for animals and the simple joys of country life took root. But it was dance that captured her heart early on—starting at just 3 years old at Elite Dance Studio.

She danced through high school and, after graduating, seamlessly stepped into a staff role, continuing her journey with the studio she loves. Jurnee brings both experience and heart to her role, having grown up in the same program she now helps lead.

In 2021, she married Aaron Edwards, and they now have two beautiful children, Cora and Lane. Jurnee is passionate about family, faith, and pouring into the next generation of dancers.

Sarah Parker

Mrs. Sarah grew up dancing right here at Ignite (formerly Elite) in Berryville, AR, where her love for dance took root early. She always knew dance would be a lifelong pursuit, and after graduating, she went on to attend Oklahoma City University, where she performed with the prestigious American Spirit Dance Company.

Following college, Sarah joined the Oklahoma City Ballet Company, gaining valuable professional experience that now enriches her teaching. At Ignite, she has taught Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary, and brings both skill and joy to every class.

Sarah is passionate about helping students grow in talent, confidence, and creativity—while making each class fun and inspiring. She is also a proud mom to two beautiful daughters, Nora and Olive, and feels incredibly blessed to share her love of dance with the next generation.

Kelci grew up in Northwest Arkansas and began dancing at just 4 years old under the guidance of Mrs. Rachel Hicks at Adonai Ballet Academy. Her passion for dance only grew as she trained with a variety of studios and instructors across the region.

Eventually, Kelci found her home at Ignite Dance Arts (formerly Elite) in Berryville. Not long after joining the Ignite family, she was invited to begin teaching Ballet, a role she now embraces with excitement and heart. Inspired by her own teachers, Kelci is passionate about pouring that same encouragement and creativity into her students.

In November 2022, she earned a 25-hour Aerial Silks certification from the Circus Arts Institute and has been instrumental in building and expanding the Aerial Arts program at Ignite.

Kelci brings grace, dedication, and a deep love for teaching to every class she leads.

Holly has been a valued part of the Ignite team since 2018, bringing warmth, organization, and a love for children to everything she does. When she’s not managing things behind the scenes at the studio, she’s pursuing her degree to become a librarian and teaches preschoolers at her church.

Holly’s passion for working with kids shines through in every interaction. A former dancer herself, she took various styles of dance throughout her childhood and teen years—and now enjoys cheering on her three daughters, who are all dancers at Ignite.

She’s a friendly face you’ll see at the front desk, always ready to help and support our studio families with care and kindness.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Leah Hamilton brings boundless passion, energy, and heart to every class she leads. A recent graduate of Twinkle Star Dance training and a holder of multiple child development certifications, she strikes the perfect balance between structure and fun—especially when working with young dancers.

Leah's greatest joys include Jesus, her family, the river, and of course, dancing—but what truly lights her up is being surrounded by kids. Teaching is second nature to her, and her playful spirit creates a space where little ones feel confident, free, and full of joy. With Leah, every twirl, jump, and giggle is filled with purpose—and love.

Ms. Melanie brings over 20 years of teaching experience and a lifelong love of dance to IGNITE Dance Arts. Her journey began at just four years old, growing up on drill teams and in dance studios, where her passion for movement and performance was born.

She began her teaching career in Portland, Oregon at Footworks Dance Studio, later joining Sherwood Dance Academy where she taught over 26 classes a week across multiple disciplines. Melanie also danced in college and performed for two years with the professional modern company, Agnieszka Laska Dancers.

In 2006, her love of the arts brought her to Eureka Springs, where she became Program Director for the after-school arts programs at Main Stage. This work blossomed into Soul Motion Studio, and in 2017, she took the reins of Elite Dance Studio—rebranding it as IGNITE Dance Arts and launching a fresh new vision.

Now in her 8th year of ownership, Melanie leads with creativity, heart, and excellence. She holds certifications in Twinkle Star Dance, Progressing Ballet Technique, Acrobatic Arts, and Aerial Arts, and continues to invest in her own professional growth.

Beyond dance, Melanie has a passion for the stage—producing and directing local theater productions such as Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, The Nutcracker, and many more. She is also a proud mom of two talented children, William and Teviana, and enjoys traveling, baking, reading and spending time with her family camping.
